1 Chron 12:32 (NIV) men of Issachar, who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;
1 Chron 12:32 (ESV) Of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs, and all their kinsmen under their command.

Yesterday I was chatting with someone on FB. This person claims to be a Christian, and I do not know if she said this in ignorance, but she basically gave me a Pantheist view of God. After she said that I wanted to give her the good person test,but I knew she would have cut the chat as she would think I was trying to preach at her and so I attempted a more apologetic/pre-evangelism approach. Reading a book by a certain apologist, he claims that in todays culture we cant treat Gentiles without a biblical foundation like they are Jews, and we must use pre-evangelism, before we use the Bible. The Apostles did open air preaching, because their culture had a biblical foundation. Today's culture does not. Geisler uses the verse above to defend his view, and he may have a point.
While I am WOTM preferred, there are some contexts where we MUST have a different approach to people without a biblical foundation and that is the majority of people in todays culture. What do you say? Ken Ham also said something like this once. He said we cant evangelize postmodernists, and people in our culture like they are Jews. We must use a different approach because unlike the Jews of Jesus's day, unlike the people whom lived during the days of George Whitefield, and such whom had a biblical foundation, the people of today do not.
