Hi All:
So glad to be on the board and I do hope I can contribute some to the content here.
I was born and raised in Miami, FL and came to know Christ as my savior when I was 14. This was thanks to a neighborhood friend who took me to an independent youth ministry for teenagers where I first heard the gospel.
I was in a non-Christian home. My mom had walked out on us when I was 5 and my dad handed me over to an Aunt to whom I am forever grateful. She, however was an alcoholic and I would often find myself locked out of the house for days at a time.
I thank God I was in a Jewish neighborhood and the moms took me in whenever I was in trouble. My love for the Jews is non-negotiable.
Since I had never been in a church and was Catholic in name only, I really had no spiritual guidance in my life. But God (love that phrase) saw fit to bring some people into my life who, for no apparent reason, cared for me and began taking me to Bible studies... I slowly began to grow.
Just a few weeks after receiving Christ, I met my future wife Kathy. I sure noticed her but it took a few years for the feelings to be returned. We've now been married nearly 43 years and she's the true light of my life.
I have served as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor in several churches over the years and God had truly blessed in every case. About 15 years ago, we founded a Christian web hosting company having no idea this new thing "the internet" would amount to much. We are still operating this business today.
I do hope to get to know some new friends here.
Thanks,
Buzz
