Investigative Judgement

BobRyan,
Is Daniel 7 judgement the same as Revelation 20's?

Rev 20 has two judgments. Vs 1-4 judgment happens during the 1000 years and the Great White Throne judgment happens after the 1000 years.

Dan 7 puts the judgment before either of those two events - before the 2nd coming.
As already notice numerous times in the Dan 7 "details".

Rev 14:6-7 places the "judgment has come" message before the Rev 14:14-end second coming description and before the mark of the beast.

As it turns out - "details matter"

BobRyan,
Am sorry I don't understand your reply.
Are you stating that Daniel 7 judgement is describing something not captured in Revelation 20?

three judgments.

As you see in my post above -

When Christ comes - at the second coming all the saints both living and dead are taken to heaven - obviously their cases were already decided by that time - so that Rev 14:6-7 judgment had to obviously be before Rev 20.

So then - 2Cor 5:10, Romans 2, Dan 7 etc.

The prophecy of Daniel was to the jewish nation and peoples though, and Daniel prophecies concerning judgement has NOT yet happened, nor have that one in Revelations!

Daniel speaks of Babylone, Persia, Greece and the empire that is next... Rome.

And then comes the papacy and 1260 years of dark ages persecution according to Daniel.

None of these are "Jews".

Where is the 'obvious connection' about these verses other than they are ALL from the sacred scriptures?

Dan 7 puts the judgment before either of those two events - before the 2nd coming.
As already notice numerous times in the Dan 7 "details".

So then 3 judgments.

The 4 world empires and little horn of Dan 7 are NOT Jewish - obviously.

The prophecy of Daniel was to the jewish nation and peoples though, and Daniel prophecies concerning judgement has NOT yet happened, nor have that one in Revelations!

Two of the judgments - those after the 2nd coming in Rev 20 have not started.

Hebrews 9:12 (KJV)
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us.,

HE ENTERED not HE WILL ENTER
OBTAINED ETERNAL REDEMPTION not HE WILL OBTAIN

But that was HOLY PLACE not MOST HOLY PLACE/HOLY OF HOLIES.
Really? Are you sure?
Hebrews 9:25 (KJV)
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches- Revelation 2:7,11,17,29,3:6,13,22

How sad that the Bible vacuous rant-solution is all that is left if one is determined to ignore the text.

They have to explain away EGW dithering and confusionof her 'inspiration' over the years as 'confirmation','clarification', and 'augmentation'.......Anything but CONTRADICTION

It does not seem illogical, once we have accepted the fact of inspiration through the Holy Spirit, to expect that early writ*ten revelations may be confirmed, clarified, and augmented by later revelations. The Old Testament comes alive through the fuller revelations of truth in the New Tes*tament, which dealt with old truths aug*mented and clarified for a new age. The apostle Paul often took Old Testament statements and used them in an entirely new context.
1967 Ministry Magazine

Hiram Edson was impressed the morning after the great Disappointment that the prophecy of the 1844 cleansing was correct as to date, but it was not correct in the event, for the cleansing was the coming of Christ to the final phases of His pre-Advent judgment in heaven.
Hiram Edson is my guy. He invented investigative judgement well before EGW,and it was IMPRESSED upon him on the morning after the Disappointment. How convenient!

Remember in 1967 they said it was impressed upon him
Let's dig deeper. May 1953 Ministry Magazine
As the morning of October 23, 1844, dawned upon tear-stained faces and disappointed hearts, Hiram Edson spoke out: " 'Some time soon this mystery will be solved. We shall know what God's purpose is, and this dark secret shall be made as plain as day.' . . . 'Let us go out to the barn and pray.'" Ibid., p. 92.

They prayed until they felt assured that added light would come in God's own time and way. After breakfast Edson started away with an other person to give encouragement to some of the disappointed ones, so that still others would believe that God would send an answer.

"About midway of the field Hiram Edson was stopped as with a hand upon his shoulder. He turned his face to the gray skies. ... 'I saw distinctly and clearly,' writes Edson, 'that instead of our High Priest coming out of the Most Holy of the heavenly sanctuary to come to this earth on the tenth day of the seventh month, at the end of the 2300 days, He for the first time entered on that day the second apartment of that sanctuary; and that He had a work to perform in the Most Holy before coming to this earth." " Ibid., p. 94.
Voila! Christ instead or returning, just shifted to the second apartment of the sanctuary. Look at how Hiram is received in 1957
So in 1844, of all the great and powerful preachers who had joined for a time in the first angel's message and who were indeed used of God for a time, not one lifted his voice in defense of God's promises and prophecies after October 22. It was left for Hiram Edson, a farmer, to receive that vision of the sanctuary in heaven and persist in its study till he had a clear answer to give to the people. Other common people worked with him. It was left for a humble woman, Rachel Oakes Preston, to call attention to the fourth commandment and lead a few into its full acceptance.
Hiram received a 'vision' of the heavenly sanctuary, it was 'impressed' upon him

Let me quote these wise words;
What is the interesting thing about cults, is that their peculiar belief always becomes “a testing message” in other words a salvational issue. They alone teach it and believe in it, and in turn elevate it to being just as essential as Jesus in regards to their salvation. All others are judged by it, and condemned for not believing in it.

Look at this new 1844 invention gaining centrality
Froom in 1944 Ministry Magazine
The sanctuary truth is the keystone in the great arch of present truth

Ellen White too
"The sanctuary in heaven is the very center of Christ's' work in behalf of men. It concerns every soul living: upon the earth. It opens to view/ the plan of redemption,. bringing us down to the very close of time, and reveal*ing the triumphant issue of the contest between right*eousness and sin. It is of the utmost importance that all should thoroughly investigate these subjects, and be able to give to everyone that asketh them a reason for the hope that is in them."

No amount of sola-scriptura-adverse ranting against Ellen White -- or misdirection to the "daily" discussion of Dan 8:12 is a good "substitute" for "paying attention" to the Bible details in Daniel 7 as listed abovel

The point remains.

No amount of sola-scriptura-adverse ranting against Ellen White -- or misdirection to the "daily" discussion of Dan 8:12 is a good "substitute" for "paying attention" to the Bible details in Daniel 7 as listed abovel

The point remains.

BobRyan,
Since when did a sanctuary much less heavenly sanctuary get defiled by confessed sins?

Where are you going should you drop dead right now?:tonofbricks:

Vooks - when did the Judgment language in Dan 7 become so difficult to read that you adopt Bible-avoidance every time it is brought up???

You are squirming sidewise every time Dan 7 and the Investigative Judgment comes up.

Where we simply "not supposed to notice"???
