I'm wondering if the globalists will detonate a an EMP device in the atmospere above America and blame Iran giving us the excuse to vaporize a whole country with our nukes all to once or pull off a number of smaller bomb plots first to build up the fear to fever pitch and impliment the growing police state further before we vaporize Iran with our nukes. Hmmmmm. Heads I lose tails you lose.

I personally can't wait for the new heaven and new earth, myself. Even the millenium would be a nice change of pace.

I don't think it will work on this if it comes down to it.

I dunno Ken most folks aren't astute observers of political propaganda and manipulation techniques as you and I. We won't be fooled again but I'm not to sure about the masses that view politics and policies as just another reason to change the channel. But I hope your right.

Wow! fresh from his trip from Iran and laying
a wreath at the axis of evil grave of Ayatollah
Khomeini. He says this...BAGHDAD, July 27 (Xinhuanet) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Wednesday called for speedy and coordinated withdrawal of the US troops from the war-torn country.

At a joint press conference held with visiting US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Jaafari said it is time to work on acoordinated transition of military control in the country from Americans to Iraqis.

"Firstly, we should quicken the pace of training the Iraqi security forces, and secondly, there should be a close coordination in planning between the US-led coalition and the Iraqi government on security transition," Jaafari said.

"We do not want to be surprised by a withdrawal that is not in connection with our Iraqi timing," he added.

    ....

I think we are being asked to leave..if I read
    between the lines correctly.

breaking...General Casey looks to draw down

An Iran-Iraq alliance presents some challenges for us... but it is also not likely to be a very tenable proposition unless Iraq breaks apart and Iran annexes the southern portion.

There is a significant and growing movement within Iran that wants more freedom and democracy. They have their own set of minority problems. Any move that increased Shia power in Iraq would just add to the tensions with Kurds, Sunnis, and Christians.

While the Shias in Iraq have obvious tendencies toward Iran, they also seem to be more secular. This is a real cause for concern but it should be balanced against the other side of the issue.

But a Muslim is a Muslim is a Muslim. They may fight amongst themselves over territorial control and tribal issues, but if it gets down to the line where there are two options:

    1. Fighting each other, or
    2. Fighting the Great Satan -

    Guess who gets picked?

You continue to paint Muslims with way, way, way too broad of a brush, LE. I hope Muslims don't do the same to we Christians by using someone like Timothy McVeigh, Jim Jones, David Koresh, etc.

So, Ken, you don't believe the Muslims of Iraq and Iran would overlook their differences and link together with a common goal of fighting the Great Satan? Which Muslims would side with the US if they are made to choose or die by the sword?

Here's a better question - which Muslims would side with Israel (the little satan)?

There is no such conflict in the offing, LE. The battle with Islamofascism deals with acts of terror. This isn't a conflict with armies of thousands of soldiers squared off against each other.

Just because people say something on a thread doesn't make it so, LE. Frankly, your anti-Muslim bigotry is beneath you.

    I never said there was.

There are 40,000 Iranian homicide bombers ready to roll out against America, for one thing - bragged about by the Iranians.

An alliance of Arab states could soon emerge as the world's newest super power. And some of them are nuclear. Don't you read the news?

Let 'em brag. If they work out the logistics of moving 40,000 people halfway around the earth without us knowing, then I'll get concerned.

    That's a bunch of baloney.

Which of them is nuclear? Iran(which is not Arab) - no. Iraq - no. Jordan - no. Egypt - no. Saudi Arabia - no. Syria - no. Qatar - no.
