I thought that was fine. I will always be independent fundy at heart but I have benefitted so much from the Puritan writings that I find being called "puritanical" a compliment. I understand Calvinism from reading their sermons, and not just the theology so my take on Calvinism is a little different from these guys who picked Calvinism up from the internet warriors. Call it Calvinism with an open invitation for everyone thrown in - like Spurgeon. Who by the way, I was first introduced to when I asked my fundy pastor who the bearded guy was on the front page of the "Sword of the Lord" fundamentalist newspaper I had. There is a lot of common ground if you will look around.
Are they now? Perhaps because we are financing Israel’s war? Why are we doing that? Our complete economy is teetering because of our financing the Ukraine, the Israeli war, etc… Just take a look at FEMA and their inability to provide help to our own country in need. The USA needs to reconsider just where our priorities lie.
Calvinism takes allot of fire on here as if it’s spawned by the devil. If that’s the picture they want to portray then I want to separate from it… to me,it is a constant choice by a group of morons wanting to throw rocks at someone’s religious preference. Listen, my own family is a mixed bag of religious preferences… from Catholicism to Welsh Calvinist Methodist, to Baptist and everything in between. So I don’t judge. I know my own path and pursue that totally, but I don’t judge. Judging to me is another way of approaching a subject without understanding i.e. narrow mindedness. I see that quite allot on this forum which has got me considering leaving this place.
