Is anybody here who is into praying on your knees?

If you have found Jesus, then you need to be seriously discipled.

Worrying about what position you are in when you pray is a much smaller problem than your need to be discipled.

Define "being discipled" do you mean going to church and listening to what a pastor tells you and then simply believing it all without questioning it? Is this what you mean with being discipled?
First of all I would have to know that the pastor is trustworthy and that his theology is okay or do you think I will simply allow myself to be brainwashed by somebody only because he's a pastor?

You need a godly pastor (have said that many times) and to be discipled. Discipleship is a gradual process where you and another Christian study the Word of God together. It is not about debate - it is about personal growth in the Word through the power of the Holy Spirit.

IMHO.

I personally mentor (light discipleship) two men currently. My health has slowed me somewhat.

Do you think that I have time?

No one has time.

One has to make time. That is if you really want to follow Jesus. IMHO.

Its called a mourning bench that someone in trouble come to the front of the church and prays..

I haven't seen one of those since I was a boy in Los Angeles. Particularly during revivals, they would have the non-believers come down to the mourners bench and the preachers would come by and pray for their souls. Wow, that was a flash from the past...

I think when one of the Penecostal programs are on TV you can see them up front, but not sure. I think they just used the raised part of the stand where the preacher and singers are now. We don't do that. We announce "open door" at the end of service for anyone who feels God has forgiven them and wants a home with us, for baptism.

When I joined, I couldn't wait until end of service. I just started walking up to the preacher. I felt someone holding onto me and it was my wife who gave her hand the same day. They stopped the service to take us in. When they baptized us, they put us both down at the same time locked arm in arm.
