According to Camping's theology it doesn't matter and there's nothing you can do if you're not ready.


And as if the end of the world is not bad enough, there is one final bitter pill as we approach the apocalypse.
Apparently no one from Family Radio is sure what to do to guarantee a place in heaven.
God, they say, has already predetermined the roughly two to three percent of those who will be saved come May 21.
Sadly for the rest of us all we can do is wait until the end comes. Again.

Easy solution .. make a quick trip to Australia, get the end of the world early, then go back to the US and pick up the late version, will give you time to get organised ;-)

Actually, all joking aside, this annoyed me. I was listening to the radio and they interviewed a local man who believes Camping and he said that he believes it so much that he didn't pay his bills. HUH? What kind of Christian witness is that? If he has money, he's not taking it with him. He used the services (utilities, car, etc.) and he's deciding to go ahead and steal instead of paying what he has promised to pay because he won't be here? That's just wrong and shows Christians in an even worse light than just stupid.

Giving the excuse too many Christians were in debt they owed too much for God to come, that will be the perfect reason why it didn't happen. IMO

People like those that were in Jonestown or David Koresh's compound maybe?

Now do I believe the rapture will occur sure I do, do I believe we can know the day or year no I don't. So we keep teaching, keeping serving and let God take of when the Rapture occurs.

Oh, his followers look stupid, all right, but when they feel that they don't need to pay their bills, they look selfish and evil as well.
