Is it my imagination or are tempers at an all time high?

Well, I belong to a group where we have a "doghouse". And I seem to be in there alot.
What we do is put someone in there for misbehaving (although it seems to ME like it's just having to much fun!), but then they are given an "assignment" to get out of the doghouse. And no posting to the general board until they've completed their assignment. You know, one time I had to write a historical event for each year of my life. So, I just put down my birthday for each year.

Sometimes I just need a "timeout", too.

My husband and I live in a dog house all the time, except that our dog Muffin, doesn't know he is a dog. We do not use that word around him and he hasn't learned to read yet.

He does let us use the kitchen if we make sure all cabinet doors are closed and the counter is
cleaned, etc.

He makes sure that we close the closet doors and leave nothing out of place. Now his toys, that is a different story.

 

betty, with 5 dogs, including a Great Dane, a Golden Lab and 3 Beagles, and 5 cats indoors, we have an idea about wot you are saying.

The Great Dane will not let us go to bed until her bed is made..she has a back bedroom and single bed.

Am I imagining things or did this topic start out about tension and bad moods in people and end up about dogs?

I'm not a "dog person" so I have no amusing antidotes to add here, but then if I knew it was going to be about dogs, I probably wouldn't have read it in the first place.

About the original idea behind this thread; I think that things have gone from a rolling boil to a simmer around here. Thank goodness.
