Is it necessary to know how others addressed theological issues?

You do not have the Great White Throne and Lake of fire in your bible?
I do. What I am saying is that you often make claims that you are either unable or unwilling to back up with Scripture. That does not mean I object to you having opinions. But when it comes to debating or defending your opinion it is better to use Scripture (we do not have opinions in common, but we do have the same Scriptures).

What does 2 Thessalonians 1:8 mean to you?

IMHO it means that these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day..

Will the wrath of God be upon them in judgement at that time?

That is what Scripture says (the passages I have already provided and discussed).
Were we all under that wrath until saved by the grace of god, and if so, where did that wrath get appeased and done away with towards us then?

What makes you think the wrath of an immutable God can be appeased? We avoid the wrath to come by being reborn in Christ.

it can be propitiated, and once saved, what happened to that wrath God already had reserved for us to receive in judgement then?
