To try to depict Him in visual form is to try to make an image of Him who is true God, and is therefore idolatry.
I am against attempting to depict any of the three persons of the Trinity.
No one can prove that such idolatry is not even more hated by God than homosexuality. Both practices are abominations to Him.

What does that say about the precious 'Geneva Bible' then?

It had illustrations, including this one of 'God Enthroned'

It shows that there was inconsistency or compromise on the part of those who made and used the Geneva Bible.

“Signifying, that destruction is prepared for all make any image of God.” (Note from the Geneva Bible on Deuteronomy 4:15)

Who are known for using the Geneva Bible? The puritans are those who used the Geneva Bible, and yet the common interpretation of the Second Commandment of the puritans was against any attempt to make any likeness or image of any of the three persons of the Trinity.
