Is It Time to Boycott Marvel Comics???

We engage them with what we believe, the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Boycotts do not do that. Boycotts simply distract the world into thinking that we only want them to have good morals.

First, the bolded is an assumption without support. Second my concern is the crazy saying "the lost will be the lost" in opposition to making any public stand against immoral behavior in the community.

*Note- there is one other poster who seems to agree with me on this. Please do not lump me in with that poster on anything.

Now that the Green Lantern has come out of the proverbial closet, I wonder how long it will be before the Marvel Company decides to bring another superhero out of the same closet?

This is the liberalization and watering down of American values and morality, and just because it is ever so slow, doesn't mean it isn't still eating away at, and eroding the foundation upon which our younger generation's values and morals will have to stand.

Not only is the need for tolerance being forced down our throats at every social turn, the not-to-silent crusade to reach the children and teens of our society is being accomplished in the halls of public education; local, state and federal government; and through the corporate businesses that provide literature and textbooks fully condoning same s@% sin. I do not agree with these intellectual minds who claim that this is merely a natural and normal part of the evolution of our modern-day society.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO SIN???
It may not be time for us to go out and burn every comic book in the nation, but it is a way past time for those in the church to make their voices known to businesses like Marvel Comics and Hollywood. If it means bundling up your child's comic books, and related computer generated games and returning them to the business from which they came for a refund (as a matter of principle), then so be it! It's a place to begin.

In case you haven't noticed, there is a move in America to take the sin out of same-gender relationships. This should call for the church to retaliate with a full-blown boycott of said products will deliver a message where it's felt most: In their profit margins and bank accounts of those individuals and corporations that are behind the de-sin-cilization of American values and morals.

thank God was NOT either Superman or batman or Wonder Woman!
