Is it time to scrap Day Light Savings Time?

Twice a year, the wonderful citizens of this nation are faced with the silly task of setting their clocks ahead or back an hour! Most of those people that I know, grumble and complain, but still, like sheeo led to the slaughter, go.through the motions to be obedient to the changes.

Is it past time to cease this ridiclous practice and just let the clocks go unchanged throughout the year??? Your views and opinions are appreciated, so please sound off and don't be afraid to.challenge one anothers thoughts on the time changes.

Yes, scrap it, throw it down, stomp on it until it is dead, dead, dead.

I usually complain about it on my blog or Facebook once a year, but this year I just posted on picture on Facebook of "dog tired" after one week of DST. It used to take my body about a week to adjust. Now it takes about two weeks.

In Texas perhaps we have a shot at getting rid of it (it even has bi-partisan support). House Representative Jason Isaac, of Dripping Springs, has filed legislation to exempt Texans from DST. He says, “It’s really time to end this archaic practice of springing forward.”

Amen.

Like an Indian chief said somewhere I read it:
Only the white man can come up with idea that if he cut off one end of blanket and sew it to other end, he will have a longer blanket....ugh.

I'm curious which 'set' most would prefer if it were to remain the same. This present one or the 'fall' set? I like this one.
The Texas bill would settle on the standard time year round rather than the DST. I prefer that one, but my main objection is to the government intrusion into the schedules of every one of its citizens.

I'm of the mind that if we keep it, that's fine by me, but if we scrap it, that's fine by me as well. I only have one clock in my house that has to be set by hand, so changing one clock is no big deal for me. As for "adjusting" to the change, I've never had any problems with it. I pretty much have irregular sleep patterns anyway due to shift work, so losing an hour in the Spring and gaining it back in the Fall is no biggie. I just roll with it. LOL!! :D

Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Standard time, Daylight saving time or something different?

BTW I am against DST. I like it to get dark earlier.
