Is it wrong to pray to anyone other than the father?

You won't read much of the Gospels without finding lots of appeals made directly to the Son.

Scriptures teach that the Holy Spirit does not speak of His own authority, and that it takes the prayers of the grief burdened believers to the throne of God acceptably.

I don’t see anywhere that believers are to pray to the Holy Spirit, but to be filled with the Spirit so as not to fullfill the flesh/lust.

" But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." ( Matthew 6:6 )

is it wrong to pray to the Son, or the Holy Spirit? If so why? If not why?
All 3 of them are god, so can pray to another of them, but the normal given practice was to the Father, in name of Jesus, and in power of the Holy Spirit.
Saying that, I still do at times talk to the Holy Spirit and ask Him to protect me say in a bad situation, to have power to witness, to teach and speak about the Bible etc!
