We read the story of God providing the manna to the Children of Israel in Exodus 16. As I was reading this passage, I was struck with the idea that this manna represents the grace of God.
- The manna was 100% from God.
- The manna was provided to everyone without discrimination.
- The manna was easily accessible to all (right outside their door).
- All anyone had to do was walk outside and gather the manna.
- God provided it, they had to go out and get it to benefit from it.
- God made the provision and man acted upon that provision in obedience to God's commands.
