Is music inspired?

Yes, but songs i used to think were inspired by the Holy Spirit, years later as i looked at the words i could see that another spirit had composed them. Songs like i'll fly away, oh glory, i'll fly away, and turn your radio on and get in touch with God are just wordly gingles to jump start the flesh.

1.
Some glad morning when this life is o'er,
I'll fly away;
To a home on God's celestial shore,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away).

Chorus
I'll fly away, Oh Glory
I'll fly away; (in the morning)
When I die, Hallelujah, by and by,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away).

2.
When the shadows of this life have gone,
I'll fly away;
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away)

3.
Just a few more weary days and then,
I'll fly away;
To a land where joy shall never end,
I'll fly away (I'll fly away)

(Just wondering which of the above lyrics were "composed by another spirit.")

Songs today that inspire me to worship are songs of praise to the Lord that leave out stanza's of what man can do, or what man should do for God.

So when we sing Psalm 100, we should leave out the Bolded parts below?

1.Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.
