Clinton was the first black president! As I heard the black lady from Texas say: "Everytime Clinton gets into trouble he puts a 10 LB. Bible under his arm and goes to a black church!"

Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and only 6.25% African Negro from his father's side, through a great-great grandparent. His ancestors on his father's side were Arab slave traders. They operated under an extended grant from Queen Victoria, who gave them the right to continue the slave trade in exchange for helping the British defeat the Madhi Army in southern Sudan and the Upper Nile region.
Are we supposed to care what his ethnicity is? Isnt it supposed to be his performance as POTUS that we should be concerned with?
I would tend to agree, so the question is: Why did the liberals make such a big deal when he became (supposedly) the first black POTUS?

If the above is correct perhaps it explains obama's Middle East policy but it would raise questions about Dinesh D'souza's premise [The Roots of Obama's rage] regarding Obamas hatred of the British.
Are you sure these numbers were derived from a properly calibrated and certified melanin detector? We are all sons of Shem, Ham or Japheth--all going back to Adam and Eve. Ham was the swarthy one--how much melanin did he have?

I took my wife into NYC (Manhattan ) one day before the 1st OBAMA election..... Black girls everywhere chanting Obama, Obama, Obama.
Young college kids (with pimples) white & black & Asian at the port authority, at the Library, at Penn Station, at Grand Central Station.....again Obama, Obama, Obama & you gotta vote for him .....you just gotta.
Of course it creeped my wife out & we beat a hasty retreat ....but I suppose its that its their guy, he's a minority & look at our liberal diversity. You conservatives continue to trot out Rich White Guys. The Error is now over.
Maybe they think they are trend setters & proud of being so.
To me it never mattered what his skin color is..... performance counts however. Over 4 years + now..... Im still waiting to be impressed.

What does the amount of melanin in one's skin have to do with anything? Obama may not be the right choice; but it has nothing to do with the color of his skin. He did not win by a slim margin. Every good guy who did not vote gave his vote to the bad guys.

I suspect that a lot of people other than blacks voted for Obama because it gave them a worm glow or perhaps as C. Matthews of MSNBC "a trickle, or was it tingle, down his leg".
How can you say that skin color "have to do with anything"?
This country is about equally divided where politics are concerned. Yet, Obama received 93% of the black vote. Nothing to do with the color of his skin?

(I understand the role of the Electorial College - we are talking about people's view and not the mechanics of the Presidential election.)
Finally, how many of the "bad guys" didn't vote either?
BTW, the Voter demographics in the link above is quite revealing in several different ways. (But that's not the subject of this thread. Just worth noting IMO.)
