It is a Messianic Psalm and it is prophetic.Hi annsni,
Perhaps you would like to comment on what I said earlier in this thread:
The following verse seems to distnguish the Son from the Father so I do not understand how the Son is at the same time the Father:
"The LORD (Yĕhovah) said unto my Lord ('adown), Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool" (Ps.110:1).

All it takes is a womens touch to make things simple. :wavey:
Hi Thorward,

I explained that verse for you in post #63 here:Hi (I'm back). Your verse (above) can be interpreted, to fit 'The Son (as Lord God Almighty)' talking to 'The Son (as Son of Man)'.
Everyone has ignored the original scriptures that I referenced, and my reasoning, in questioning the 'established' understanding that brings us to our current understanding of The Trinity & The Godhead. I have used the Word of God. Are you telling me that there are 'lies' in the Bible? I have no idea what some (above authors) are telling me, when they say that I am using 'modalism'. Please simply refer to the scriptures, and explain the scriptures that I used to raise the question, in the beginning. I am not interested in Calvin, Luther,...or others that have been referenced above. :jesus:
What he stated was forthright, blunt and to the point.
Examine it:
The trinity, original sin, and the eternal security of the believer have been orthodox mainline Christian doctrines held by believers throughout history. Those who have denied these truths fall outside the realm of historic Christianity. He mentioned the trinity. Any person that denies the trinity cannot be a Christian nor even saved. For that reason any person that denies the trinity is not permitted on this board.
I don't believe that his statement of belief is out of order seeing that it is in line with orthodox Christianity.
