My problem with President Obama from the very start has not been that he was born in Kenya, or was a Muslim, or hated America, or wanted to destroy the country, or whatever else has been said.

My probem from Day One is that he was able for the job. He didn't have the expereince and was only a puppet of the Daly Chicago Machine. He may very well be doing his able best, but is just not up to the task.

That is a great response! Of course as an American, I would disagree with you on his being born in Kenya or hating America, because both would be a betrayal to those who elected him, and the Constitution of the US! If he doesn't love the country or should it eventually be discovered that he is not a citizen of the US, then he is a liar, and a traitor to this nation and those who died to protect and serve it well before he cam on the scene!

If he is protecting, defending, and preserving the Constitution to the best of his ability, he needs to resign. Unfortunately I believe he knows exactly what he is doing. I just don't know if he is being used in the plan for the end of this age, or just the end of the USA.

I'm not knowledgeable enough to form my own opinion yet about the end times scenarios, but one thing I have heard a lot about in the past is the question of if the US, and if it has any roll in it. Could obamo be being used to take the US out of its position in the world?

I also agree that he did not have the experience with his background for the job. This is something that I think people need to look at in this election with the number of political newbies running.

Winning the election, doesn't mean you are capable of running a country.

What experience is needed to do the job of President? What we WANT a President's experience to be and what it NEEDS to be seems to vary.

What is he doing that's not protecting, defending and preserving the Constitution? People often make that comment, but not much of what he's done in comparison to other Presidents seems to ACTUALLY get tagged by the SCOTUS as unconstitutional.

The party opposite the party in power in the White House seems to often claim that what a President is doing amounts to something unconstitutional. I heard it during the Reagan years, Bush I years, the Clinton years, Bush II years , and now during the Obama years.

I doubt it. As Christendom goes, so goes the nation. As Christians become less Godly and less and less unrepentant of that unGodliness, the power of the Holy Spirit will not work through them. That affects the rest of society. My personal theory is that the United States isn't mentioned because the Holy Spirit that indwells the Christians here will be removed prior to the Tribulation and the coming into power of the AntiChrist. As a result, the United States economically and socially falls apart no longer resembling what it does today.

I also agree that he did not have the experience with his background for the job. This is something that I think people need to look at in this election with the number of political newbies running.

Not saying this is true of you or Naas. But the average voter, at least on the GOP side this time, doesn't seem to be particularly concerned with experience otherwise you wouldn't have a bunch of first term Senators and Trump and Carson leading the charge of candidates.

True. But again, there is an element of politics involved because if you ask the folks who voted for him, most will tell you they think he has done an admirable job considering where they believe Bush II had the country.

Problem #1

We have had 7 years to see what he has done. Carpro said it best, "He doesn't believe in the Constitution. Never has."

He doesn't think the Constitution is anything more than a rough piece of paper to wipe his butt with. Only when he can use it to his advantage, does he acknowledge it.

The SCOTUS doesn't seem to know much about the Constitution either, based on the stunts they have pulled in the last few years.

I sure have disagreed with other Presidents in my lifetime, but this is the first one that truly scares me.

I'm not letting Congress off the hook either.

I just hope our country takes a different (better) direction with the next administration, and we get back to the values the country had as a whole, and that we might regain the position we had in the world.

Our problem isn't just a Democrat or Republican problem, or a problem between Liberal and Conservative.

As I, and Zaac both said, this year there are a lot of politically inexperienced people running on the Republican side, and the Democrats have a front-runner who may, or may not, have severe legal problems, along with questions that keep coming up about her health.

The next one Sanders is 75 years old. I have been around 75 year old, and many could keep up the pace I imagine the office takes, but what about the end of his term. Reagan had health issues towards the end of his term which I think should be taken into consideration for anyone running for office.

I'm not close to 75, but I notice I'm not as sharp, or good looking as I was 10, 20, 30 years ago. I watched as a family member who would be considered very intelligent, go down rapidly in the last few years of his life, just from age catching up to him. Just saying to try and explain my concerns about age, and being the Leader of the Free World.

With both the Democrats age and health questions, along with it looking like someone with limited or no political experience for the Republicans, I will look very hard at the VP picks, and if the candidate seems like they would be willing to listen and work as a team.

I think that both of the parties have not given us very good choices. It would seem that in a country of 320,000,000 people there would be better choices. Or maybe they are smart enough to stay out of politics.

We have a little less than a year to see how it all shakes out.

Whoever wins, lets hope and pray it is the American people.

The issue with Obama is not that he is incompetent because quite frankly he has been very effective at getting his agenda through. Of course it has helped that we have a weak conservative party. The issue is not that he does not understand the constitution. I believe he understand it well.

The issue is that he has a hatred of American values. Period.

I wouldn't say that he doesn't believe in the Constitution. I believe he knows and understands exactly what it says but does not agree with it in many places neither does he agree with the concept of the separation of powers or the concept of checks and balances if they interfere with his personal agenda.

Secondly "to the best of my ability" should probably be changed to "to the best of Valerie Jarret's ability" (His chief adviser).
