I hope it is your mind that is conformed to Scripture even though at times we humans fight with issues and try to conform Scripture to our minds.

His ways are above our ways of doing things. But certain things have been written.

Selection is from the word election. Election is choice. A choice by God.

It does not exclude people..it includes people.

People are already fit for Hell. So really all are excluded from Heaven. God's choice to save some is not an exclusion but an inclusion. It is His choice by His sovereign will to save certain people that deserved exactly the opposite of what He will bless them with.

Since you are a Baptist I would hope that you agree with Baptist's confessions of faith.

I hope you take a few minutes and read chapter 8 here.
