The things that I listed all have killed people. If we should make everything safe then we should do away with all of those items so we can save just one life.

You are avoiding the main point of a 17 year old kid being allowed to own weapons that are used to murder

That isn't the main point though, is it? Since I am the one that initiated this branch of the conversation I decide what the main point is and the gun wasn't it. Not to mention I have already said it is fine for a 17 year old to own a rifle. I am fine with a 12 year old owning a rifle.

Who has the personal accountability, the loaded gun, or the person choosing to shoot it?

Was it actually murder - or was it self-defense
and as far as 17 years old - we have 17 years old in the Army/USMC
and though not authorized -
Many youngsters age 12 and Up served in WW II
Youngest Enlisted Men : 15 & 16 year old Soldiers

The Underage Military Service - had over 1,000 members (16 & under)

and over 10,000 17 year olds join the US military every year
(must have parents permission)
"As of 2020 approximately one-quarter of enlistees to the Regular British Army were aged under 18.[211"

you just cannot admit that it is WRONG to have "rights" for 17 year olds, and as you say, 12 year olds, to use guns! The US Constitution is NUTS on this!
I don't admit that because it is not true. Please spell out how exactly it is wrong for a 17 year old to use guns? Good luck.

This is very serious. How can it ever be justified for a 17 year old kid to own a weapon to murder?
He did not own it. He borrowed it. For his protection while trying to see what the idiots on the left were doing to his community. The perps (not him) were trying to steal it from him. He did not murder anyone. You are part of the problem, convicting him without merit. Is that how it works where you live?

Talking with people who don’t listen is a waste of time.
