the1bil stated in the thread asking is Trump doing a good job, that Trump was doing God's will. While it's an interesting claim, how can he prove that? In fact how can anyone know anything that is the will of God. Some claim because He allows it to happen, it's His will. How does one know what is the will of God?
The answer to that is to study the Bible.
"3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. 7 For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. 8 Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit." 1 Thessalonians 4 (NKJ)
"16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5 (NKJ)
Some believe that what he is doing for Israel is the will of God. In that case Christians should look at what the Antichrist. First he deceives Israel and the world. First the Antichrist acts as a deceptive ally, peacemaker, and protector to Israel during the first three and a half years of the Tribulation.
"And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate." Daniel 9:27 (NKJ) Remember a week is seven years, so midst of the week would be three and a half years.
What does the Bible state about the midpoint (Abomination of Desolation) of the Great Tribulation?
"3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of [b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits [c]as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
"15 “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. 18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. 19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." Allowing the Antichrist to rise is part of God's permissive sovereign will. He knows we will be deceived by the Antichrist just as he knows what sins we will commit during our lifetime. Remember, God hates sin, but He gave us free will to make our own choices.
