I don't know anyone personally dying from Covid, but I do know people personally that died from the flu and pneumonia. I know people dying from cancer. I also know about some families falling apart during the lockup. Murders are way up. Assaults are up. Do you know anyone murdered, assaulted, divorcing?
I'm surprise you know 10 people who have died from Covid though. You're first I've heard with a number like that. Very sad.
I don't think Covid is a hoax. It's a real disease. It's dangerous to people with health concerns, not very dangerous at all to healthy people. The problem is, it's an election year, and so it's political. HCQ would likely be available over the counter right now if this wasn't an election year. Only Covid deaths are front and center.
I'm from Louisiana. We, unfortunately, have the highest per capita number of cases in the country and I'm not bragging on that. It makes me mad.
We have been asked - not commanded - to take precautions such as masks and limiting being in crowded places. But because our governor is a Democrat - all the good old boys and girls down here are acting like he has asked us to smear horse manure in our mouths. It's insane down here the way people are acting.
And I don't understand your post here at all. I was not talking about murder, divorce, flu, pneumonia or anything else.
Why can't a person say that Covid is real without having to bring up every other disease and disorder and problem?
Why can't we just say - the virus is real - please take precautions without stirring up a hornet's nest?
I was merely addressing another poster's claim that Covid is a "hoax" and a "myth". And by-the-by, my friend who died last week without her family and not seeing them for four four weeks was in perfect health when she contracted the virus.
I'm not saying Covid is the bubonic plague. I'm just trying to convince the hoaxers out there that it is not a hoax.
