Islam trying to be the worlds pariah

Again, Joseph, apples and oranges. You are throwing up red herrings. Slavery has nothing to do with this thread. Neither does the assassination of PM Rabin. This thread is about Islam.

All Muslims believe in Islam. Mohammed was the first terrorist of that religion. His legacy continues. A peaceful religion wouldn't have to "sell" us on the idea that it is a "religion of peace." The world would be able to see it is peaceful if that is so.

The only peace about Islam is when the rest of us are RIP - either blown to bits or beheaded.

This is the third jihad.

I can't remember the name but one Christian apologist that converted from Islam said that Muslim tactics largely depended on how much power they had. When a minority or bare majority, they tend to be less radical. The more Islamic a country is, the more radical they become.

There is also a PR game to be played. Officially, some countries like Egypt have freedom of religion. Unofficially, they look the other way when Muslims persecute Christians. The "Voice of Martyrs" organization and others report some of these things.

Under a'Sharia (sp?), people have "freedom of religion". If you aren't Muslim, you are permitted to become Muslim or remain a second class citizen. If you are Muslim, it is a capital crime to convert to another religion.

While you could say this isn't necessarily "terrorism", it does have the effect of eliminating the infidels progressively.

Yes I understand and expected the hypocrisy of your position is rather clear.

Let me help you out since you have a problem saying it:

The Jewish man who murdered prime minister Rabin was a terrorist. So is the Kach Jewish organization who were stoning defensless unarmed Palestinians a week or two ago. So were the folks in the Klan who carried the Rebel Flag. If you think we are above being brutal terrorists because we claim Christianity, I got news for you. You're wrong, dead wrong.

Yeah there are some bad people in every religeon or sect of society JB. I think you are missing the entire pt wich is ..does islamic teach (as a whole) hate and violence towards others. What other nations teach their children in schools to hate american "infidels". I think you made a statement and don't know how to get out of it.

We have people bomb abortion clinics ...does that mean as a whole christianity would follow this type of behavoir. See?

Does Christianity teach hate and violence towards others? There are several folks in the Klan who certainly think so. We have historically seen those who claim Christianity follow the example of violence. We, in Christianity, usually retort by saying they are not true Christians or do not represent Christianity. Yet, when I present evidence of Muslims who say the same thing about extremist terrorists in their own religion, we are not willing to give even them the benefit of the doubt. I see the hypocrisy in that, even if you don't.

Scott J, you are right on. When they aren't in power, or the majority, everything is peace, moderate, etc. It's a ruse.

Once they have the majority or the power, whether by infiltration, immigration, or by force, the inevitable Sharia law becomes the law. Infidels can be spared if they either pay up or embrace Islam.

Afghanistan is a prime example. I read where there used to be Baptist churches in Afghanistan many years ago before Muslims became the majority. Then there was a progressive "ethnic" cleansing. First the Hindus. Then the rest of the infidels. Same situation in many countries. One merely has to search histories of so many countries to see this has been a historical pattern. That's why I can predict what will eventually happen in Iraq under an "Islamic democracy." History is on my side of the debate.

Jerusalem Post reports that Israeli physicians are en route to London. They have experience with these types of injuries.

I hope the world will wake up to the truth. But because people have hope that it is only a minority who are extremists, eyes remain closed to the truth of what the religion teaches and the terrorist who started it.

"o ponder the pt that the islamic religeon is bult on hate for america"
"
Considering that Islam was already 8 centuries old when Columbus first set foot here I'd say you are overstating the importance of America as an Islamic buildingblock.

I think your right Joseph.

Timtoolman said, "What other nations teach their children in schools to hate american "infidels"."

We're not taught in school or church (any that I ever went to anyways) to hate another group of people or religion. I reckon we're taught that at home passed down from others we are close to and from the worlds media we watch and listen to everyday including our politicians.

Reading some of the posts here today reminds me of how easily we can be manipulated to feel hate towards another group different than we are and go into "group think" effectively shutting down our reasoning faculties in the process.

I think Joseph is right to discourge racist like reactions to the Muslims.

As to "what their religion teaches" - well, obviously it is a false religion - but during the Christian Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition we weren't standing on Holy Ground either.

It is going to be a rough couple of days for
the religion of Islam and they really need
reformation badly...if it comes from the outside
they will resent it, they are going to have to
start getting up off the comfort zone and take
on their killer element of their religion.

What we have been waiting for is peace loving
to moderate Muslims to rise up and take on the
killer bee side of their religion...you really
do not hear much. And the U.S. has to prop some
up to do so, which is not a good long term strategy it really has to become a reformation and a populist movement.

I agree with Joe and Poncho the group think can
cause us to react and paint a broad stroke that
takes out innocents with the tide.

Not sure what pt or side you are making with my qoute but I hope you all can see the difference in raising children to hate all others except themselves. That is not done here in the states, Yes you have prejudice people but they are not allowed to hold classes for the most part and teach it.
After reading this whole post I see alot of wishy washy, mealy nouth, going this way and that, way type of christians. For God's sake say something and mean it. Stand behind it.

If I had a group think, I would be agreeing with the Islamic apologists and herd mentality that Islam is a "peaceful religion."

My eyes were opened regarding Islam after I started researching Islamic web sites, what the Quran teaches, and Islamic history following 09/11.

In fact, I believe Islam will end up being the world wide religion spoken of in prophecy, complete with a false prophet.

Revelation (chapter 20, I believe) tells of those who will be "beheaded" for Jesus Christ. No other religion practices beheading.

There were clues given to me through the years by personal contact with some Muslims about what they believe, but I didn't take it seriously....then.

The majority of people believe as some of you do - that Islam is the religion of peace. Broad brush? You betcha. I paint with the broad brush of the terrorism founding of Islam, Islamic history, current events, Islamic persecution of my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ all across the globe, and what the religion of Islam teaches in forming my assessment of the situation.

Believe what you want to believe. That won't change what's coming down the pike.

This is the third jihad.

Unfortunately, it is. There are Islamic madrassas up and down the Eastern Seabord of the USA that teach Muslim children to hate America and the Jews. They are protected under our Constitution. This is one method of infiltration, using our freedoms - including the freedom of speech - against us.

Terrorists live among us.

Unfortunately, that is true. Just look at what Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols perpetrated.
