    Then tell me,

What is Kadima going to demand in return for this Palestinian State...or are they simply going to give it to them and be done with it and hope for the best...you know...the Condi Rice Doctrine?

Don't know. We'll have to see how they do once they form a new government.

Yeah...that's a good plan. Let's just leave it to chance.

Benjamin Netanyahu's stance is the only prudent one. The notion that land, (which is God's and is not to be traded away) can be traded for peace, is great folly. This Kadima victory is yet another in a long list of Israeli screw ups. The Palistinians have absolutely no right, by any measure except world opinion, to achieve statehood. Statehood would give them the right to have a standing army that would be yet another threat to Israel.

The fact that America is in on the trading Israel land for peace is misguided/terrible.

And it was rejected, fortunately, by the people of Israel. And I commend them for so doing. [IMG]

You should know that this is not Netanyahu's stance. He also supports a Palestinian State as well. He also believes in reciprocity in order to achieve peace. Kadima believes in giving the Palestinian government (Hamas) everything they want and hope that leads to peace. This has been tried many times in the past and has never worked. Now, what was the definition of insanity?

OOps, thanks for the correction Joseph.

I support zero negotiations concerning Israels land.

I am with Netanyahu and Sharansky who support reciprocity as the method for achieving peace and forming a Palestinian State. To me, the lives of human beings is more important than dirt which is no more holy than my car.

Be careful what you say to hillclimber, Joseph. He seems to fancy himself to be a prophet who can tell us when Jesus is returning. Not sure that you should get yourself on his bad side. :D

I am not real sure where you got that from, Ken. I have not seen him do that. I am really beginning to wonder if this is a trend for you when you put words and ideas into people's mouths that they have never said. First you accuse Bibi of being an extremist who doesn't want peace, now you are accusing Hillclimber of claiming to be a prophet. I have seen a person (Hillclimber) who is more concerned about holy dirt than he is about human lives...but then again, one could also note that you have more concern for the lives of baby seals than you do for the human lives in Israel and throughout the Middle East. Oh well. I, on the other hand, am more concerned about human lives than I am about holy dirt or baby seals. :D

Hey, Joseph, in the "Hey, Big Spender" thread in the Politics forum when I stated that no one knows when Jesus will return, hillclimber replied thusly:

"This truth is not available to you because of your unbelief."

I guess hillclimber also thinks I am going to Hell since he claims I am in unbelief of what he believes.

How absurd. There are no prophets today. I only state things based on my understanding of the Bible, and observence of worldly events.

Holy dirt? Oh Iraeli land. I certainly put human lives above that of land. God is pretty clear on the sanctity of human life. He sent His Son to die for each and every one, and required a life for a life.

As you well know, I refer to your unwillingness,(unbelief) to learn the Bible and God's plan for man today. You are stuck in Kingdom gospel which has been suspended or set aside for 2000 years now. There isn't/hasn't been a single sign of Kingdom activity for nearly 2000 years.

You don't want to do that. You would rather thousands more Israelis and Palestinians die rather than negotiate peace. Sorry...but I certainly don't see your concern for human life.

Sure there has and is. The church, the kingdom of God, the body of Christ, has been very active for the past almost 2000 years.

I believe a Palistinian state would make matters of peace much worse than they are now. They have never demonstrated a desire for peace, and one of the few reasons for statehood would be to legitimize yet another large military presence on Israels border. They would easily be fully funded by neighboring nations. The Palistinians are basically servent type people, not capable of governing themselves, and that's the reason they have been so easily managed by Arafat types.

Reciprocity won't work any better than it has in the past 60 years.

The Bible teaches that the body of Christ, the church, is the kingdom of God.
