It May Be Time for a Black President, Just NOT Obama

It is probably time for a president of color, other than white...or of a gender other than male, however, it's just not time for Barrack Hussein Obama.

If it were not a time that this nation is considered the "Great Satan" or an "Infidel" by an enemy that is able to mix in with the general populace, I'd say Obama may be a good choice for president. The problem is, I don't trust Obama. And I am not the only one who has this mistrust for him. For openers, he is an unknown quantity, and it is the "unknown" Obama that causes the little hairs on the back of my neck to stand up and quiver every time I see his image on TV, or hear him talk.

The truth is, there is something very dark about Obama [no pun intended]. There is something that he has taken great strides to hide. He has gone to great lengths to make sure the general populace does not see beyond the shallow veneer covering his true views. A veneer so fragile that one slip of the tongue could bring him down, but so far, he has avoided the fall from grace.

I continue to ask myself: what is Obama hiding? It would be a real shame to have the true man show up after he's president, but, if he is hiding something, and that which he is hiding surfaces after the votes have been cast, well the people that voted him to the office will have to shoulder their stupidity and man up for making him president! After all, if you make him president, you will have to live with that for at least four years.

I'm with you about the unknown quantity the BO represents; at least you know (pretty much anyway:thumbs where Hillary stands and what is expected from her.

As the old saying goes, "Better to deal with the devil you know than the one you don't know."

'Course I'm not sure it's gonna make much difference in the long run in any case, just the speed with which we are destroyed as a nation. And, the Rs will be more civil in the process than the Ds - speed's the only variable as I see it now.

Our only hope is for God to mercifully intervene though we've certainly given Him no reason to do so.

This is the year that I will be holding my nose when I cast my vote. Because all the candidates that we've been handed this year reek with the stench of abortion support in various stages of viability. IOW McCain has supported early term abortions in the past. He has only come to the table for life in this election year. However his votes in the Senate has a pro life record.

Secondly all do not side with the American People in regards to illegal immigration.

Please, be serious - there are more than enough reasons to not vote for this man without resorting to "there is something I don't like about him."

This is quite a stretch to apply criminal evidence rules to one who has volunteered to offer his services to lead our nation.

Back in '91 there was this glib-tounqed character that came on the stage and almost managed to con me into voting for him. Yet, there was something that just didn't ring true, so my support went elswhere. Need I say that this guy was Bill Clinton? Didn't think so.

Look at the info that became available on him AFTER he was our leader.

I fail to see why any sane person would object to getting ALL possible info on someone like this unles they are under his charismatic spell.

In which case this country is defnitely doomed.

If he has changed his postion, how do you know that you can trust his change of heart concerning Roe v. Wade? After all, this was a major reason why social conservatives didn't support Mitt Romney - they didn't trust that he had truly changed his stance on issues such as abortion.

I believe this is a faulty argument. I understand what you are saying and I mean no disrespect. Some years ago, I attended a KJV-only church. I started showing interest in the NIV which caused friction between me and my pastor. I asked him one time how he knew the KJV was God's only translation for English-speaking people. His reply was that he had prayed and the Holy Spirit had shown this to him. I still believe he thinks this is the case, but I don't think he was, or is now correct. If you believe that voting against Obama is what God wants you to do, then by all means do it. That doesn't mean every Christian who votes for Obama is disobeying the Holy Spirit.

These issues are not. These are exactly why we should not vote for him. AFA McCain is concerned he at least has come to the table with prolife, pro-marriage, fair tax, physical responsibility and strong military promises. Promises by politicians are like eggs on Teflon, they do not stick. Again I will be holding my nose unless someone steps up to the plate and drives all balls over the right field fence.

Bob Barr just might be that individual. However, will he be able to carry the day as a Libertarian? The press is not going to give him the time of day. Money is another issue for him. If the press ignores him he will need oceans of it.

Meanwhile look for the blue man in the Florida voting district of 22, Putnam county commission district 3, that would be ----- me.
