Saw John McCain described as "two-time presidential candidate". Didn't agree with it. Discuss.

You disagree because it's not true.

He ran for the republican nomination twice, but Bush blew him out once and Obama blew him away the one time he won the nomination and he ran for president. He ran a poor campaign both times.

Low class and out of place. Liberals have no sense of decency.
Just imagine when "Rev" Sharpton and Jackson pass away, how dems and fake news like it if Christians pastor blasting them for being 'wolves in sheep clothing?"

No telling how many president's will attend the funerals of these 2 race mongering "reverends".

Only one attended the funeral of Billy Graham. Donald Trump.

I am pretty sure that Billy was absent from the body and then present with the Lord, but those other two, not so sure of that!

Exactly. He was a presidential candidate, once, in 2008.

Otherwise, Mike Huckabee has been a presidential candidate two times. So has Rick Santorum. And Rick Perry. Better yet, Harold Stassen has run nine times.

Can you imagine the racial, political hoopla if the muslim Obama would have been there?

I did appreciate the good Rev preaching to and against his black people.

This week we have seen the passing of singer Aretha Franklin and John McCain, and after watching all the hoopla that has been going on concerning these two and their sendoff, I think it has all become a bit much.

I mean really, taking over a week to put these two people in their graves? All the hoopin' and hollerin' over Aretha as the "Queen of Soul" and the long speeches of "he was the greatest" concerning McCain (by people who just a short time ago hated and despised him) is beyond the pale. Good grief, enough already!

The Jews and the Muslims have it right, if you die on a Monday then you get buried by Tuesday at the latest and it's all over.
Its ridiculous. A singer and a bitter little politician. Neither deserved the amount of attention.

30 day rule. So simple but folks just can’t help themselves from knocking the guy.
Bitter little politician and singer are facts, not personal attacks.
He politicized his death by choosing to fight trump in death and from the grave. Leaving instructions for Trump not to attend his funeral and the families attacks on Trump at the funeral perfectly demonstrate his and his families pettiness and bitterness.

He actually had a pretty lengthy list of people that were not allowed to attend, including Sarah Palin and a couple of other people associated with his failed campaigns. I guess he blamed them all for his defeats.

I don't know if it is/was "pettiness" and "bitterness" but just the J McCain persona.

You people? I am offended. "You people" is a racist term. If the left are going to take offense at "monkey up" I am going to take offense at "you people."

No, it's more like "tribalism" so-called.

Tribalism is (in terms of being a social ill) less than "racism" and some social scientists say it can be a perfectly normal social phase.

i.e. It can be as innocent as being a Red Sox fan who "hates" the NY Yankees booing them at a series game.
