This is a falshood oft asserted usually by those who are too lazy to do any real analysis, or those who wish to ride the fence in an effort to gain honor by both sides of the argument.
It's like saying all denominations are alike, or that Billy Graham and Joel Olsteen are two sides of the same coin.
But, lest I appear unwilling to listen, perhaps you could describe how they're just alike. Maybe start by describing the foreign policies of Trump and Biden. Tell us how they're just alike.
This is a completely false statement. I am actually a little surprised as your posts are normally more intelligent and investigative (not that I normally agree, but this is out of character....you normally take take the time to clarify before getting to this point).
By two sides of the same coin I am borrowing a fairly old term to describe the political system of the DNC and GOP (and how they, as parties, relate to one another in a political system composed of two dominant parties).
They are two sides of the same coin. The differences in the parties is that they are fairly opposite on positions but with the same ideas about politics and political power (hence the term that has been applied....that I borrowed...that they are two sides of the same coin).
Are the policies the same? Of course not. Your request that I explain how their foreign policies are the same was a very stupid request (I had just said that they were two sides of the same coin). But together they make up the same political system that has been running our nation into the ground for decades.
In other words - I am agreeing with former President Trump. They are the swamp...not just the DNC, but D.C. This is what Trump has shown us - even with the GOP. The establishment runs deep. It is a bipartisan corruption that seeks its own power.
