Jail for parents (sounds like prophesy about child against a parent)

"Under the new law, a parent could tell their 11-year-old daughter that she has to wait until she is 12 to wear make-up, but if that same parent told their 11-year-old son the same thing they could be determined to have “reduced non-heteronormative” behavior and potentially be subject to jail time. Yes… jail time."
Legal Breakdown of Bill C-4 with André Schutten of ARPA

They are arresting pastors, jabbing little children, threatening mandatory jabs and etc. Wonderful to know that Jesus will return soon. These animals will get what is coming. Including their leader who God calls a beast!

I'm not surprised. In the past the World has made accusations that teaching Scripture as fact is child abuse.

I'm not surprised.

What is surprising is that some people who call themselves Christians seem to keep being surprised that the world does not act like Christians. They also need to seem to think that they should never have any problems with the world acting against them, in spite of what we read about in the New Testament and being told that God's elect should expect to suffer persecution.

I'll speak only for myself ... but perhaps it's like the knowledge our parents are gonna die ...

but until they DO ... well ... then they do and you get to experience loss like never before.

You know, because of the The Word you referenced, there will be persecution. But not many of us can look at the cross upon which we're about to be nailed and say "I've longed for this day" as our first response.

IIRC, you're a jarnoggin, right? your company is the bunch who says "I'm glad this stinks" ....

(there was an grunt doing pushups in the mud ... "man this stinks"
on the other side of the hill, there was a jarnoggin doing pushups in the mud while it was raining ... "man, I'm glad this stinks"
offshore, there was a swabbie observing from the bridge with his binocs ... man i bet it stinks over there"
in his 5 star italian alps hotel, the zoomie was flipping through channels ... what? no cable, this stinks")

So that's what you get out of children being assaulted with propaganda and sex change procedures? Bad mouthing believers for being surprised at the degree of outright wickedness that has broken out all over these days?

These days?
dad, have you no sense of history? The vile cravings of human wickedness go back to Cain. My dear sir, the wickedness done behind doors to little children by men who claim to be shepherds of the flock of Jesus is renown. If such horrors happen in the house of God, how much worse is the wickedness of man?
The stories of our brothers and sisters around the world being cast in jail by their relatives and then martyred is plenty. Do you think it is only recently that these things take place?

Read Romans 1.

Dont be setting any dates - could be another 500 years.......
Soon is not a date. Signs are signs though. Notice any signs that the time seems to be nearing?
500 years? In the 2 years or so since the mark of the beast type preparations have been going on at great speed the world has lost freedom. To work or travel or meet others or pass gas almost pretty well takes a jab. The trend is only towards increased tyranny. To have that go on 500 years does not seem plausible. I think they have already crossed God's red line in the sand by offending the children.

There are actually times in history when it is worse. Jesus reminded us that the last days is one of those times. I have seen a marked increase in wickedness over the years. Pretending otherwise, or trying to conflate or mask or minimize that is scoffing.

Christ will return after the last of God's elect are saved. We don't know who the last of the elect will be or even if that person has been born yet.

Not at all. I don't like the bad things that I do or that anyone else does. God is sovereign all the time and all things happen to accomplish His purposes.

I'll tell you this - back in the mid 60's my dad said with all the signs happening, he believed that the Lord would come in his life time.
Dad died in 1993.

I think Dad was wrong.

I dont worry about signs - not that I ignore them -I just don't put too much concern on it. When He comes - He comes - in the twinkling of an eye!

No, but we do know when the signs of the times happen. He already clued us in. We also know other things about God and what He can tolerate from a nation and etc.

Yes and He told us in advance what those things were.

That is right. The people in Jesus' day should have known the times. They had the years given to them by the prophet Daniel. They had the prophesies like virgin birth, ministry of Jesus, and etc (hundreds of them) that should have clued them in. The same is true of the time near His second coming. We know that the world will get together and be very wicked and impose something in order to buy or sell and etc etc. We know Israel has to be a nation so they can be invaded. Why ignore reality?

could be, but it won't.

Daniel was right about Jesus' crucifixion, I expect he's also right about The Day of The Lord, too. he wasn't given which day nor which hour ... but certainly the year (12 month window) which we can validate with the prediction of the Dome of the Rock's arrival being accurate, as well.

these things dad2 has raised only serve to highlight the increased depravity in our society. Just as told to us by The Master Himself ... so ... in spite of the title to Netflix's latest star-studded production "Don't Look Up" (screwball movie, btw) ...

DO look up! it's ok to grin, too.

Your eyes were closed to the news of the world if you think today is any worse than 2000 years ago.
Today, the gospel has gone out throughout the world. People of every nation, tribe, and tongue are being told the gospel. We are seeing the gates of hell collapse from the onslaught of the gospel.
Tell me how many in the world had heard the gospel in AD 40?

My friend, it's a matter of perspective. This point in history is a time where the gospel is a bright light in the darkness.

Did you think dark times meant that the gospel would not be preached? No. It means that the child sacrifices and offences to children and loss of freedom in the march to the mark of the beast, and the general state of the world has waxed worse and worse. It is not the same! The bible tells us perilous times would come and that iniquity would not just continue but abound. It is not business as usual.

I'm not sure evil was called good. it was just evil and everyone knew it.

It says that the spirit of antichrist has always been around.
At present Christianity is growing in China at rates that are greater than the early church.
As Christians, we have no fear of death. What can man do to us? The opposition to the gospel may be greater here in this land of "babylon" but the Church is marching onward.
