And Jeopardy is a syndicated show these days.
Actually, I get Jeopardy on two different stations -
1) NBC
2) Fox
Those 2 stations are about 50 miles apart - but I am about half way between them.

NBC airs the show, so I'd say they do the final editing. Are you sure than NBC is involved - as SONY Television is the producer of the show

far as I know, EVERYONE who normally runs it, ran that eppy. But SOMEBODY is responsible for editing the eppys that they all run, making a "final edition" of it.. Local affiliates rarely see a show aheada time.NO!! An NBC affiliate may air the show - but as Squire said "And Jeopardy is a syndicated show these days."
AS I mentioned before - one of the local stations that airs Jeopardy is an NBC affiliate and the other some 50 miles away -
is a Fox affiliate. The show runs in the 7-8 time slot -EDT (and most stations also air Wheel of Forunate) that time is reserved for the affiliates.

Yep. And that editor would be right, there was no problem to see. Someone had to make it up out of whole cloth.… AND it could be that the editor did not see a problem with it!
