Maybe Springer should have had a chit chat with President Biden:
He also considered running in the 2018 Ohio gubernatorial election, but decided against it due to his age.[25]
(Springers was born February 13, 1944)

In 2018 he was 74 years old.

I realize that Many Christians were not fans of Springer,
but did you know that his parents were German Jews?
Several of his relatives died in German concentration camps.

The web site link provided mentions... “The Jerry Springer Show” ran from 1991 to 2018 and was known for its profanity-prone guests who often had to be restrained by on-set security guards as audience members wildly cheered, "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!"

Jerry Springer... No fan of mine!

Back in the late 80"s, early 90"s I was responsible for removing femoral arterial lines from hospitalized patients after they had a coronary artery angioplasty.

It involved removing rather large-bore arterial and venous catheters from the groin region and applying pressure until hemostasis (clotting) occurred (about 25 minutes). It was wasn't a pleasant experience, mildly painful and once in a while a complication called a vagal reaction would occur (heart rate and blood pressure would drop).
A simple, easy solution was to distract the patient.

In the afternoons I'd turn the patient's television set to Jerry Springer and go about my work of removing the catheters.
HE NEVER FAILED ME! No one ever vagal'ed while watching his show.

Also from the OP article:

Longtime TV personality Jerry Springer, who helped pioneer the high-energy, often-profane genre of confrontational daytime television, died Thursday after a bout with cancer, his representatives said.

“He’s irreplaceable and his loss hurts immensely, but memories of his intellect, heart and humor will live on.”

Springer had no regrets for the high-energy, low-brow material he aired on afternoon TV.

Former Education Secretary William Bennett in 1995 famously called “Springer” and other shows of the era “perpetrators of cultural rot.”

"Springer" was such a success, that the words "Jerry Springer" became a synonym for anything outrageous or ridiculous TV.

Of cause it worked, that’s how Chuck Norris did it.
