Been watching this one with my wife and what a classic it is. Surely the best Jesus film I have ever seen. The actor whom played John the Baptist in my POV did a better job than Heston in The Greatest Story Ever Told, and Robert Ryan in King of Kings. The film is based off the gospel of Luke. Unlike King of Kings there is no mention or hint of a conspiracy against Jesus by Judas and Barabbas. The movie is quite long I will add but I believe it to be the most accurate of all the Jesus films.
