aligning your mind with and speaking as the world speaks is a bad thing, as is changing the meanings of words like 'savage' to be bad or politically incorrect, all of that is identifying with the world and trying to please the world.
Romans 12:2

They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
In my opinion, this is an area where we should attempt to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If we set ourselves to give in and apologize to the cancel culture every time they command us, we will be obeying men and not God (Acts 5:29). On the other hand, there are biblical commands to (as much as possible) live peaceably with all men (Romans 12:18), and to "Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:" (1 Corinthians 10:32).

You know that holding to a contention is a work of the flesh. the LEFT is promoting and holding to many strong contentions, we need to be very careful here.

Its like the leftist fairy tale about the "Noble American indian", as they among all of the various tribes had ushered in eden, which we whites became the snakes in the garden, but truth is that many tribes went to war and did horrible things to each other before we ever arrived here!
Several years ago I read "End of the Spear" and found it entertaining but curiously indifferent (maybe there's a better word) toward presenting the Gospel, much different in that respect from "Through the Gates of Splendor".
