Joe Biden’s “Path Out of the Pandemic”

The White House released an 11-page memo Thursday entitled “Path Out of the Pandemic” that outlined six key areas where Biden is either shifting or hardening his strategy on the virus.

Path out of the Pandemic: President Biden’s Covid-19 Action Plan

For examples:
The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is developing a rule that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require any workers who remain unvaccinated to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis before coming to work. OSHA will issue an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) to implement this requirement. This requirement will impact over 80 million workers in private sector businesses with 100+ employees.
Building on the President’s announcement in July to strengthen safety requirements for unvaccinated federal workers, the President has signed an Executive Order to take those actions a step further and require all federal executive branch workers to be vaccinated. The President also signed an Executive Order directing that this standard be extended to employees of contractors that do business with the federal government. As part of this effort, the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Indian Health Service, and the National Institute of Health will complete implementation of their previously announced vaccination requirements that cover 2.5 million people.

I would hope so, but even so, one problem is how much damage can be done before things are settled in court.

Damage can be a good thing... how much of American liberty’s does senile Joe want to trample on in order to pursue his corporate agenda?

All of it.

In what sense do you mean? For example, enough damage for people to wake up and do something? I'd agree. Damage to someone's health who for medical reasons should not take the Covid-vax but feels forced into doing so in order to keep putting food on the family table? Nah, can't go with that.

To clarify, those who have medical or religious reasons to abstain from vaccines are exempt, but do have to be tested. To suggest otherwise is to hypothesize about what is not.

JonC, please notice my comment is specifically in reference to asking Earth, Wind, and Fire about what he means by damage. Neither does your comment does not cover the way I expressed what I said about what a person feels they have do, regardless of whether you or I think that is what they have to do.

I am not against getting a COVID vaccine. But this continued making it political, . . .

It pushes me against getting it.

". . . Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: . . ." 1 Peter 2:13. Comes to mind.

I am still weighing my options on the matter.

I mean that by trampling on Citizens liberties you break laws. Smart lawyers can use that to their advantage. I’m betting that they will indeed do so.

Why do you feel the need to get one? Or Two, or three... with a booster every 3-6 months. Also do you got kids and any family pets?!?

Note there are instead of stipulations to getting testing in stead of getting vaccinated. Biden stated he will even be working with Walmart to providing testing equipment at a cut rate! What a guy right.

Looks like I'm going to become unemployed, soon.

The camel's nose is in the tent, & he's pushing hard to get his head in.
If the public does not buck these power hungry jacka$$e$, the camel will have his whole body in 'fore long.
I DO believe in abortion - as long as the abortee is this administration --lock, stock & barrel down to precinct level!!
I really think there are some (few??) dems that are sane, but rather than take the chance, git 'em all gone!!!!!

I do not feel I need it. I had Covid in February of 2020. The worst of it my taste was shot while I was sick. And did not know at the time it was covid. I did not find out until my daughter tested positive for Covid anti-bodies some time this year, after donating blood.

Have you been tested for antibodies?

Then you can go with them. You need to get with the program and stop fooling around with this political stuff that gets you nowhere. Instead just get mad at these jack wads for perpetuating this “Take Away Your Rights” crapola.... then recognize that there two camps, not Democrat / Republican but the Fauci Ouchy Dreamers and the Patriots... the Freedoms Will Be Defended group. And that’s where you draw your line!!! And do it before they try to both exhaust and bully you into submission and you end up dying a like a group of pathetic wussy’s!

Right now, OSHA is severely understaffed, just like most of the hospitals and medical centers in the USA. They will freely admit that the sick are being turned away because of a lack of staff to address the overrun at the ER. This is fodder for a ton of potential law suits. My wife and I go to hospitals all the time for various cancer treatments and so we see it first hand... no beds & no nurses to treat the sick. So what do you do Joe Biden, why you fire (force to resign) your medical staff cause of your screwed up policies. Thanks Joe Biden.
