Call me cynical, but it wouldn't surprise me, nor if they helped squeeze Trump out.
Many if them stood down. The Governor of Indiana was AWOL but then he just takes orders from the country club. Biden, the self-called devout Catholic never said that he was interested in an honest election. Probably the majority of Catholics agree with Biden that abortion is okay. Pope Francis has indicated that black Africans are having too many children.
