Your typical M.O. Find a bunch of nuts who hold a position and assume anyone holding that position is a moron.

Please stop with the premise that you are all about Christian behavior...
I have not made that argument. I see you are getting into the false accusation game.

What I have said is that I am actively 'loving my enemies.' I don't like Biden and I don't share his politics. But I don't automatically assume he is not doing the right thing by treating a homeless man like a person.

"thatbrian" cannot stand the idea that someone might assume from the context of the photo and personal experience that Biden could be doing something good. It is clear (according to the teaching of Jesus - remember Him?) that he does not love his enemies.

I'm calling him out on it.

This argument you present is a false dichotomy.
No, it's pretty clear. If you love your enemies, you don't automatically assume the worst of them -- especially when there is evidence to the contrary.

You do not own the higher ground just yet.
I have never "owned" or even claimed the "higher ground." I make a mess out of the commands of Jesus like everyone else. I'm better than I used to be, but I have a long way to go.

That is not for you, or I, to determine.
Actually it is. You know one another by their fruit. We are also our brother's keeper.

I realize that some people around here are not used to being accountable for the things they say about political figures. They just imitate the world and blast away. We are called to be better than that.

You said that what others say and write shows the world who they are. I concur.
Good. So why did you even go after me?

Prove that, please. Where did I say that?

What I did say — my objection to what was going on in the thread was the ASSUMPTION of what he was doing. It's foolish to assume what he was doing by looking at that picture. Presenting wild stories of what he did or said, is not a help in arriving at truth and spinning tales isn't a Christian virtue. Neither is bearing false witness, which you have done above.

So you are trying to make this about my alleged "self-righteousness" instead of your own words. That's just sad.

It's you Liberal self-righteousness that is the issue. It's you on your high horse insulting and creating lies about me. That's a problem.

I’m done with this ‘last word’ game. I told you what my observations were in an effort to improve the discourse here. Tough love, was the plan. It failed. Have a blessed day.

:Roflmao

Tell me again how my dislike of Biden and his politics has caused me "delude" myself because of my "political ideology" so that I interpret the photo of Biden as doing a good thing!

That was hysterical! :Roflmao

The original news story stated what Biden was doing. The person who took the picture stated plainly what Biden was doing. Unless evidence to the contrary is offered, a logical person accepts the account.
