made on the authority of the word of God!Is your suggestion made on moral grounds?
Nope, by the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ! Are you reconciled to God by your sinlessness?
I have never confessed being in a sinless state, have you?Have you repented of your state of "not being sinless" before God?
if I am to be as perfect as God Himself based upon my own works, I know none would be ever qualified to pastor, or even to be saved!First follow biblical discipline by being perfect as the Father is perfect. Then you can go around preaching!
It is just God children who have gone astray... Its not a death sentence but leaders should know better... There are rules that need to be obeyed for the peace of the church, no body in church does their own thing... I don't know about other churches, I can only tell you about mine but if you have a disorderly church, you are in trouble... Our natural parents discipline us and for good reason, if they are loving parents... If my parents disciplined me on moral grounds, is that legalism?... Brother Glen
Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
And if you think there is any joy in removing someone from church you have the wrong attitude, it is soul/heart wrenching duty the church MUST perform and there is no joy in it, and it MUST be done in love!!!

I have never claimed that, but also know that God commands that His people do need to exercise spiritual discipline at times in the body!
he was kicked out for sexual perversion!
Have you read the ones there who were poor and sick and destitute wandering around with any material goods, but still rich in faith?
No person in a leadership position can be allowed to be in open sin rebellion against God!Romans 7:4: "Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God".
Are those who haven't yet died to the moral law, God's children, let alone remove a couple from the congregation?
paul commands us to judge rightly, as we must exercise Christian discipline when needed in the Church! So was Jesus unrealistic when He commanded to be perfect as the Father is perfect in Mathew 5:48?
You keep a diluted moral standard for your convenience and judge others expecting a higher moral standard, you hypocrite!
Do you think you can be qualified and saved to judge others? Except Christ, no pastor is called to judge but only to preach grace.
How is asking those in leadership positions not live in open sin by wrongly judging? But you pretend to be like one!
You need to follow the scriptures and not false teachers and their teachings! If you judge someone by the moral law, remember, you who aren't sinless according to the moral law, will be judged accordingly by God who expects perfect compliance!
I see you sowing seeds for your eternal destruction.

Matthew 18:15-17 same Lord Jesus commands us to exercise church discipline! You are in open sin rebellion against God by disobeying His command in Mathew 5:48!
