Wrong application, as we must exercise discipline in the Church in order to bring the wayward back to right living for Christ!

That was not a dispute with the church but rather one individual having a dispute with another individual. Don't use silly ridiculous examples.

Secondly, Jesus never uses the passage in Mathew 18 yo give you a license to violate Mathew 5:48. Read Mathew 7:3 before you accuse others and the context better next time rather than blabber nonsense.
