John MacArthur - Dispensationalism

Big Mac, like us all, has a few flaws.
His understanding of salvation is, in my opinion, spot on.

His understanding of end times and Israel is, in my opinion, terribly flawed. Like most who followed the Lewis Sperry Chafer "Systematic Theology" mode of Dallas Theological Seminary, the understanding of how God works in history is disjointed and confused. On end times theology, MacArthur's good friend, RC Sproul was right. Sproul will be there at the pearly gates to tell John that John was wrong. :D

Well, there is only one second appearing, Hebrews 9:28. Only one the last trumpet, 1 Corinthians 15:52. Only one first resurrection, Revelation 20:6.

I cannot believe it. A thread where Calvinists pontificate about what is wrong with someone's view, but omit to present the correct view. Mind boggling.

Calvinist view = the Millennial Kingdom does not refer to an actual one thousand year reign on earth by Jesus from David's throne.

Dispy view = The Millennial Kingdom refers to an actual one thousand year reign on earth by Jesus from David's throne.

Like Liberal Supreme Court Justices, Calvinists rewrite the text to fit their bogus views.

MacArthur in these clips is not accurately presenting the views he's marginalizing.

I love Darbyism. :Laugh

Can we talk about Jesus's White Horse for a while? After all, "God meant what He said." Who 'gets' to be the Royal P o o per Scooper?

Ol' Dave wasn't being so humble wanting that doorkeeper spot, was he?

[Edit: The BB automatically substituted a poop emoji for the word "P o o p e r":Roflmao

You are mixed up. Calvinist can be dispensationalists as MacArthur proves. It seems you just have your tired axe to grind.

Historical premil was the dominant church position until Augustine made Amil replace it!

Believe it or not, but have seen website of a Presbyterian church group that holds to pretrib premil!
