It wasn’t long before even the Founders started ignoring the Constitution(after all, they were fallen humans just as we all are). Jefferson thought that a constitutional amendment was required for the Louisiana Purchase, but eventually gave in to political pressure.
I am just glad that the State of California and the City of Los Angeles are not locking up the peaceful protestors of BLM and Antifa, just sayin'

so, you have THUGS who are bent on murder, the BLM, who not only want to defund the police so that they can carry on their violent thuggery, but also go around trying to murder cops. They have broken EVERY law on social distincing, and every other aspect of the lockdown. When a Christian Pastor encourage people to Worship the Living God, and want to get lost sinners saved, he is sent to jail? This is the work of the devil! We live in VERY EVIL times, and persecution will rise 1000 fold for those who stand up for the Lord and His Truth! May the Lord have Mercy!
It is news worthy. My hat is off to him for standing for his faith in Christ. I had hoped that Christians all over this country would rise in support of him. Sadly, not the case.
Most 'churches' have chosen to either close or be obedient to the social distance and mask rule. Yes most are so obedient. When the anti-christ comes with his mark of 666, most will be so obedient to that also. I mean, it is just the right thing to do.
What is happening in California today will happen all over the U.S if Harris wins the election.

Oh please, I would gladly suffer for Jesus Christ to ensure a better resurrection. You are labeling those that disagree with John MacArthur as those that will go to hell having the mark of the beast. This Baptist Board does not allow such pot shots at our saving faith.
That's good. I mean John MacArthur avoids violating his conscience and is jailed 6 months while rioters burn down police precincts with no charges, as far as I know. America is broken.
I agree with you. However, no one told people to attend the church. The building was unlocked and people chose on their own to attend. So it is the congregation that really should be arrested.
It's an interesting illustration. I will say this. Many of the "churches" that are super compliant are likely apostate churches. But you'll recognize these by the liberal theology. Others, however, are not, just timid. They've become a bad testimony, but not necessarily apostate.

this seems to be an attack on Christians by the devil! Here in the UK, you can go to a pub and sing in there, but when in Church, you must not worship the Lord by any singing!!! Complete tosh
Oh, it is an demonic attack on Christians and Jews but not a word about Muslims visiting a mosque. There is no attempt to enforce the law in the black neighborhoods or the gay neighborhoods (Indianapolis has a huge gay population). At this time, there is no longer any need for a lockdown. We have buried many of our frail elderly and destroyed our economy and printed money until we ran out of paper to print some more. It is not snapping back as Trump says. The local politicians want to show people how mean they can be.

Pot shots? As I said, I am disappointed in the over all response of Christian churches in America in it's lack of support for MacArthur.
I am saying the same arguments will be given by the anti-christ, in my opinion, when it comes time for him to issue his mark. This covid thing is just a precursor. Getting people geared to function like that. Every needs to be obedient to these powers.
