Since SBG seems not to understand simple words and the discussions is circling (continually) down the drain, I am taking the position of Mr T in dealing with him. Might be the wisest course dealing with someone who will not listen.

Ah the way taken by those who cannot respond from the Bible and hide behind false statements. Deal with the comment by JM where he clearly says that the bleeding of Jesus does not save us

Do you think that He (Jesus) had to bleed, no, not to save us"

My understanding of the context of, "saved by the blood." I have not read all the post.

For I delivered to you, in the first place, what also I had received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures; 1 Cor 15:3 Darby
for the soul of the flesh is [in the blood;] and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that maketh atonement for the soul. Lev 17:11 Darby
Therefore will I assign him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong: because he hath poured out his soul unto death, and was reckoned with the transgressors; and he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isa 53:12 Darby

Glad no one video'd my sermon on Rom 5:10 "we shall be saved by His life" (KJV) or they would think that I didn't believe in the cross and call me an unbeliever.

AMEN

For this reason God highly exalted him
and gave him the name
that is above every name, Phil 2:9 CSB

For what reason?

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Luke 22:42 KJV
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:46
who in the days of his flesh both prayers and supplications unto Him who was able to save him from death -- with strong crying and tears -- having offered up, and having been heard in respect to that which he feared, through being a Son, did learn by the things which he suffered -- the obedience, Heb 5:7,8 YLT
Phil 2:8 CSB
he humbled himself by becoming obedient
to the point of death —
even to death on a cross.

Romans 5:10 KJV For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Resurrected life?

Note that sbw put me on ignore because he could not respond to the Bible when confronted with scripture.
Good luck in conversation with sbw. He chooses to die on a hill where he is in ignorance.

PLEASE stop trying to defend JM, when it is very clear that he says that Jesus did not have to bleed to save us! It is very clear in what he says, and yet you and others continue to defend his comments. The majority of Christians commenting on this video, disagree with what MacArthur says!
If you only realized how stupid you are making yourself look ...

Some have way too much pride to admit they are wrong then dive into absurdity to defend their error.
Some posters go out of their way to oppose all who hold the truths of grace.
They take words and statements out of context and slander servants of God.
Once a person is lost in error they go all over the place.

Bro SBG,

I have great concern for you in your pride and willingness to mis-state a clearly evident statement by JM. You are unable to say, "Sorry guys, misread that one." In continuing to misrepresent JM's point, you become a false witness. I must agree with Bro 1689 in his admonishing you to repent. I say this not to attack you but genuinely out of love for you, hoping your eyes will be opened. My participation in this thread is over.
