Avoiding the question, I see, but that's par for the course.

I did that in November 1988 for Jack Kemp and I never saw my vote in any totals that were announced.
There are far too many write ins for the media to give who gets a handful of votes. I think I've received a vote or two for president, etc., but I've never heard it mentioned.

8 years ago the present Bush was running. I see no reason that any family in the USofA should have more than one president. So I voted Libertarian. That second Bush President did pretty good the first term so I voted for him on the second term.

I've read what appears to be Ron Paul's campaign web page. He has a problem that precludes him getting my vote:

1. His dissing of McLain is unkind and un Presidential
2. Ron Paul cannot get elected

We don't know who our votes are going to anyway with easily manipulated electronic voting.

I used to be in Software (computer programs, you know) Verification. How many States have anybody checking Electronic Voting Validity? Answer: probably not one state.

As we found out in Oklahoma when the FBI sent 1/3 of our country commissioners to jail - if nobody is watching, then somebody is cheating.

What the heck is this thread all about? I can't get the page that's referenced; the site says 'on maintenance.'

Why post an ambiguous title, and the OP nothing but a URL? The Democratic way?

I saw this coming and still busted out laughing.

First year being married my wife told me she wrote in Mickey Mouse. I asked Why? Why not just leave it blank. You think anybody really reads those write-in's? If you didn't want your vote then vote for who I tell ya. Now she never tells me who she votes for and she picks up her book when I discuss politics.

In Oklahoma you can only vote for delegates pledged to vote for a candidate. If you write any name on any ballot, you invalidate that ballot. So if one writes in someone on a presidential ballot, they might well invalidate their vote for their Representative in Washigton

read the hyper-text:

politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com
/2008/05/08
/former-republican-to-seek-libertarian-presidential-nomination/

It is obvious the subject: Ron Paul, Libertarian Presidential nominee.

I have yet to read the page myself. :1_grouphug:
