So what? A person for any public office does not have to be an evangelical to garner my support.

I am having a lot of 2nd thoughts about Judge Roberts. He is so bland that I think we are going to have the bland leading the bland. I don't mind him as a judge but I don't like him for Chief Justice. I think that Catholic jurisprudence is inferior to Protestant and Americian jurisprudence and I think that the GOP has overpaid Catholics for their support but I suppose that they don't come cheap.

Bush has to be written down in history as a moderate. He really has not done anything domestically except spend and spend and spend.

The Democrats have done their best to smear Bush and although I think that they have failed, I alos think that Bush's moderation has been a disappointment. Afterall his father is much more intelligent and hard working. It is too bad that his father did not get a 2nd term. However, the Bush family has served the public for 3 generations and has not degenerated into the alcoholicsm and criminality of the Kennedy family.

I am ready to call Bush a lame duck for trying to spend and to appoint his way out of domestic political problems instead of trying to trim the budget and get the best man for the job.

I like Bush and I think that he is a good Christian man but we don't need a moderate nowadays. We have too much red ink and too many people standing around complaining with their hands out wanting more 24/7.

FTR...why does it appear you are just trying to start a fight with him? If you don't have to answer me, why should he have to answer you? I bet this doesn't get answered...

I think too many Christians are more concerned about what judge is ruling (as if he can make laws) than about living the Christian life and sharing their faith.

Now, I am not an expert at sharing my faith. Usually it starts fights...but I still see that as more important than worrying about which judge is ruling. Judges can't make the laws anyways.

    KJ,

I answered yours, you just didn't like the answer. And I wasn't directing the question to you, anyway. I've learned pretty quickly that your skin is far too thin and you've demonstrated that you will take personal offense at comments not meant personally (and others have made the observation), apparently just because you don't like the answers or for whatever reason. You'll even get twisted up as to who said something first. Lesson learned: DON'T DEBATE WITH KJ. Take it somewhere else. If ASLANSPAL doesn't wish to demonstrate his own political leanings by naming his SCOTUS preferences, that's up to him--and up to me to draw my conclusions, correct or not.
