McHugh, the former psychiatrist-in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital and its current Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry, said that transgenderism is a “mental disorder” that merits treatment, that sex change is “biologically impossible,” and that people who promote sexual reassignment surgery are collaborating with and promoting a mental disorder.

I don't think the doctor will care. He has the facts, research and pertinent studies on his side, not to mention his many years of experience in the field.

“’Sex change’ is biologically impossible,” said McHugh. “People who undergo sex-reassignment surgery do not change from men to women or vice versa. Rather, they become feminized men or masculinized women. Claiming that this is civil-rights matter and encouraging surgical intervention is in reality to collaborate with and promote a mental disorder.”

That's about as clear as anyone could say it.

Hope he saved up his money....enough for the rest of his life. The LGBT crowd is going to want to burn him at the stake and then drag his charred remains thru the streets like their buddies in the Middle East do from time to time.

It is a disease. And for whatever the reasons, gays dispise and look down their little gay noses at a sexually reassigned person!

What is even more interesting is, a good percentage of those who successfully complete a SRAS hook up with a person who is of the same gender that they were reassigned to surgically! (And I don't have the numbers to prove this. I heard this in a Voc Rehad workshop in the early 90s). In other words, a male becomes a female, than starts up a relationship with another male; or vice versa! Confusing, but it points to the sin nature and disease side of this horrible and expensive body mutilation!

They could have saved all the money and just lived gay!
