I can’t really tell yet. He’s getting a lot of grief lately from him trying to block Ryan Zinke’s efforts to clean up our forests and get our fire seasons under control. Last year was absolutely ridiculous.

He campaigned against the Patriot Act yet has signed every funding bill put in front of him. If you look at his voting record, he has very rarely bucked his party.

A good friend of mine worked for Tester before he passed away last month so I got that on my mind.

Montana swung right a few years ago. Gianfornte got in. (70% of the vote was in at the time of the “assault”), so I expect Tester to have a rough time. He’ll carry Missoula and Rosendale should carry the rest of the state. It will come down to turnout. If 70% of the eligible voted, Tester would get crushed, I imagine. Low turnout will hurt Rosendale.

...so I hear that's a lot of the problem with California's wildfires, the environmentalists won't allow for any clean up.

Not far from where I grew up, a section of the Red River Gorge was designated a wilderness area by congress in mid 80s and no clean up done since. Was in there shroomin last year and walking is really difficult simply from all the debris, it's a tender box waiting for a spark.

Moonbeam has said that Californians should get used to the wildfires, been so rainy in western WA this spring, hope that will deter new ones here.

Tester is the guy with seven fingers, right? I think as an outsider he can be beat - first elected in 2006, when ya had a real wave election against some Abrahoff R, Tester barely won that, and was reelected in 2012 by less than a five point margin, and his campaign and the DNC threw money at the libertarian that ended up with eight percent of the vote, an old Interior West ploy by them.

Tester really is lockstep with the Democrats, he's reversed his positions on gun control, healthcare, SSM, among other things. His opponent, probably Rosendale, will have his work cut out for him. Tester's VA vote won't hurt him as badly as his vote to keep the government shut down earlier this year.

This stunt with Jackson may have done him in. You get the idea, parusing his Twitter feed, that folks are disgusted with him.

That was a real hatchet job by Tester. Doesn't seem to be any real justification for it whatsoever.

That should disgust a lot of people.

Probably, IMHO, a desperate attempt to gain favor from his leftists cohorts!
Hope it backfires 1,000% on him.

They really are in those tweets - well, Tester went to CNN and made these wild allegations about Jackson, twenty people supposedly knew he was the candyman, yet none of them went on record. And I don't believe Tester when he claims Jackson would walk up and down the aisle on a plane asking everybody if they want to go to sleep - who does that? And then he gave them drugs to wake them up again? Speed? sounds ridiculous.

Montana is chock full of vets and retirees, hope they toss the porker out on his left ear.
