Add YOUR particular or general request and any who view will be reminded to pray. Here are mine to get us started:

*Granddaughter, senior in college, had major knee surgery last week and now is beginning the arduous process of rehabilitation. Tough summer ahead.

*Grandson's wedding is June 27th. He is a BIOLA grad and new full-time youth pastor, and his bride will be starting her second year of Med School.

*Son has opened his home to a young mother with toddler and newborn, helping her get settled and direction in life.

*Teresa and I celebrate 55 years married on the 19th. My health has been an issue this past month. Emotional and physical needs. Energy and patience (for her) dealing with my failing strength.

I have spent much of the past 4 weeks in bed, with little strength. I have the opportunity to preach this coming Sunday (June 22) in two services. This will be the 6th time in the past 16 months to proclaim the Gospel in a unique setting, very few of the people being evangelical or profess salvation by faith alone.

Prayers for strength and clarity of message empowered by the invisible working of God the holy Spirit in hearts.

Letting you all know that I am slowly "crawling out" of a hole that was unexpected and really knocked me down. In March (at age 77 after 50+ years in full-time ministry) I suffered an instantaneous emotional breakdown much like Charles Spurgeon spoke of - uncontrolled crying, roller coaster feelings - he had no meds and said that he endured this for his entire adult life.

I fought it "naturally" (herbs, regimen) and in June went to MD and cut down almost all my activities. Could not go out in public. Body strength and function soon broke down and could no longer do much physical activity. Could not drive. Doc tried more meds.

Sept 12 the mental fight began. No focus. Could sit for hours staring at nothing. Couldn't handle any stress - even watching a ball game tension, so had to tape it, wait until it was over and I knew results, then watch it. Tried more drugs and total lockdown at home. Out T'giving but only for an hour and wife had to drive me back home.

Tomorrow (Feb 11) I start the last of the 60-day drug protocol designed with higher doses to help that final area begin healing. Doc expects full recovery by summer of what was always called a "Nervous Breakdown" but really 3 related collapses. I will be mostly "absent" from the BB and appreciate prayers.
