I was watching Pastor John Hagee preaching on the return of Christ yesterday. His text was Revelation chapter 19.
Anyway, he said our Lord will return on a white horse and out of his mouth shall come a sword and all the Christians following him in white robes.
But I believe Bro Hagee is wrong. Why? Because he is trying to teach something LITERALLY from a highly symbolic book. We know the beasts, dragon, harlot, trumpets and such in Revelation are SYMBOLS that portray a reality of something else. So why make Jesus returning on a white horse with a sword coming out of his mouth a literal thing?
One must realize that outside our planet is a dark and deep outer space with no oxygen and if any human or horse were out there they would die instantly. So I just don't believe Christ will return on a literal horse millions of light years from the kingdom of heaven through outer space on a white horse. Nor do I believe a sword will be hanging out of his mouth either. What do you folks say about all this teaching? I'm all ears.
