Try to name one prime-time tv show this week that did not include some sexual reference
Compare that to the shows of the 1950's or 1960's.

I'm more concerned with violece on TV. It seems we Americans are so preoccupied with sex on TV, we're giving violence a free pass.
I'm also at a loss as to why there was no outcry when soap operas first appeared in the 50's. The biggest offender of sexual content is the soap opera. I could be wrong, but one almost gets the impression that when it's watched by our Christian women, then we'll just turn a blind eye, but as soon as it's watched by Christian men, then poof! Gotta get rid of it. That is one of the reasons I find the "get rid of sex on tv" crowd often duplicitous.
Within reason I have no problem with the History Channel looking at the subject from an historical perspective. Not every program on TV has to be suitable for a first grader to watch to be okay with me.Originally posted by Bunyon:
KenH, you will have to back up on the history channel. I have seen several show dedicated to sex on the history channel. It was not dry history either.
I'm completely serious. 30 years of blatant sex on daytime tv, watched by christian women, and narry a word is said. Then, when starts its way in the evening, watched by christian men, then all of a sudden, those same christian women are up in arms. If one can't see the clear duplicity, then one needs to see an oculist.Originally posted by LadyEagle:
