    You assume that Evolution was discovered, or is evident. And it is not. You will cite people you trust, and you will summarily dismiss equally qualified and knowledgeable, doctored biologists, geologists and astronomers who say otherwise.

    Evolution and large time scales are not evident in the real world, they're projected upon it, and you project it upon Genesis. To do so, you must deny the obvious meaning of the text.

    So, we're not disagreed on interpretation. Our disagreement is on whether or not the Emperor is fully dressed.
