well, doesn't help when MANY clergy support and condone it, especially the 'commander in Chief!"

Yall don't think the COmmander in Chief is a Christian so why do you care what he supports and condones? If he's as Godless as some of you think, it shouldn't matter what he supports or condones. You're called of God to not judge him as he's outside the church according to some of you.

That unrighteous judgment is one that needs to be mentioned in the dwarfing abortion thread.

What doesn't help the cause of Christ is why that supposed Godless man always seems to come across as more loving and compassionate to the unchurched, unsaved people supposedly outside the church than does a certain segment of the church?

can ONLY go by the evidence, and the president has said that he does not think other faiths go to hell, doesn't like that aprt of jesus death om Cross was for sinners, thinks that all faiths have their own insight and way to God, really loves Islam, "a beautiful thing", supports abortion and homosexuality BIG time, has stated that the NUMBER ONE priority inforeign affairs to for gay rights throughout the globe, so why should we NOT see him as not being a true Christian?

And do you see that the church just needs to preach the love of jesus, and ignore the judgement to come against them who refuse to accept him as their Lord on HIS terms, not theirs?

And as I said, you don't think he's a Christian so what right has God given you to judge him who you say is outside the church? You seem to willy nilly make excuses to justify your own disobedience while talking about why other sinners continue to justify their own.

I asked the question last week. Do you even know what the Gospel is? You're just trying to be right about an isue with no apparent concern that these are hurting people.

What about the rest of their unforgiven sin? Do you care?

Actually, we are to judge righteous judgment. We are not to hypocritically judge.

we are OFF LIMITS when it comes to judging the eternal destiny of ANYONE, Obama included.
but we are allowed and permitted to judge a person's character, statements, doctrines, practices, and thoughts based on what is written, and Obama is NOT EXCLUDED.
However, Zaac's point is well taken.
Best to reserve the permitted judgments to those who profess the Name of Christ as their own.

ANd that's what I mean Pinoy. If Obama isn't a Christian and he's doing all this anti-Christ stuff, ain't no need for us to be raling against him. He's doing what the lost should be expected to do.

We have to remain cognizant about why God left us here. And getting so carried away about politics does nothing in terms of pointing folks to Christ.

If we were spending as much time preaching the Gospel as we are arguing against someone's politics then people would already be hearing the truth in comparison to the stuff that Obama and others are saying without it seeming like our concern to be the politics.

So what if we convince one person that Obama is a wretchedly wicked man? What does that do in terms of their eternal souls?

i am NOT saying tht the president is not a Chrsitian, just that based upon the evidence that we have to examine, he might want to get back on the Christian agenda, and get off the ones that his is currently stuck on!

I know what the Gospel is, and that jesus died for individual sinners like me and Homosexuals/lesbians/raptists/gossips etc, but also know part of the message is to stop/cease trying to live as if sins are now acceptable to God, just because i have been now "saved!"

According to you he's not so preach the Gospel that makes Jesus known and saves souls as opposed to making your opposition to a sinful man and his policies known.

We are to do both, or did you forget that the prophets in OT thundered from God all the time against leadership bad policies and agendas?

And ONLY the Lord knows if the president is really saved, just suggesting that if he wants to keep professing that, should have more fruit to support it!

Man stop. You have said that he isn't just as you have said that folks who continue in sins after getting saved can't be Christians if they continue in that sin.

You're stuck on homosexuality and the President's agenda too. If you want Him to get back to the Commission of God, how about you do the same?

Then you know wrong. That is NOT part of the Gospel. Where is it written in Scripture that you got to convince folks that they can't live as though they aren't saved before they get saved?

You keep trying to make the Gospel into something it is NOT just because of your focus on one sin.

And I'm suggesting that you take your own advice because the hypocrisy with which you speak does nothing to spotlight Christ or any fruit of the Spirit.

I have NEVER stated that thsoe engaed in homosexual behaviour must change before getting saved, as they cannot do that before while in carnal/natural state that we all once were in...

My reference is that the bible does indeed teach that once/after being saved, THEN the lord desires/demands us to walk in a way worthy of our new life in him, and commiting daily/contnually homosexual acts/practices not right!

What about the prophets of Baal, did God show them the love of Christ by having Elijah order them to be killed off?

just think our friend wants the Gospel of love only, but flip side is that God is Holy, and those who call on His name need to strive to become more as he is, not stay in our besitting sins came to jesus with!

To answer your question, guess the love of Jesus would tell them to just keep on doing!

So if you haven't said it, why such concern about these folks if, as you say, they can't be Christians? If as you say, they can't be Christians, why so much surprise that they see nothing wrong with sin?

Somewhere in here, you're not being truthful.

Your reference as everyone read in another thread is that you don't think people can be saved and in a stronghold. And if you think they aren't saved, why expect them to think their sin is sin?
