Kindergarten Teacher Will Let Boys Play With Legos ‘When Hxll Freezes Over’ to Promote Gender Equali

A kindergarten teacher in Bainbridge Island, Washington, has banned boys from playing with Legos as part of the fight for gender equality.

The Bainbridge Island Review reports Captain Johnston Blakely Elementary School kindergarten teacher Karen Keller intentionally excludes boys from playing with Lego building blocks. Allegedly, this is in attempt to help girls.

Keller told the Bainbridge Island Review, “I always tell the boys, ‘You’re going to have a turn’ — and I’m like, ‘Yeah, when hell freezes over’ in my head. I tell them, ‘You’ll have a turn’ because I don’t want them to feel bad.”

According to Keller, playing with building blocks like Legos helps children develop spatial and math skills. Girls, therefore, are a disadvantage in developing those skills because Legos are not marketed towards girls.


In order to remedy this disparity, Keller originally tried to entice girls to play with Legos by offering them in girly colors, pink and purple. When the girls were not interested in playing with the toys — but the boys were — Keller decided to ban boys from playing with the Legos entirely.

How is that gender equality???? She is attempting to hold one gender back! She is intentionally with holding education from one sex. She is lying to the boys as well. Girls don't like the legos, so she decides boys can't use then either???? She is with holding something from kids specifically based on sex. Gender equality "the state in which access to rights or opportunities is unaffected by gender." The teacher has violated this in her own class room. She is denying boys opportunities.

When my grandson was in second grade he mentioned that the boys played a shooting game under the teacher nose, knowing it was against the rules.

Guns were not allowed but the youngsters cut paper guns from the school supplies. When they were confronted by the teachers they said they were boomerangs.

Yeesh. She has no clue that she's actually teaching the boys to dumb themselves down, rather than encourage them to be creative. Instead of recognizing differences and helping kids develop through their individual cognitive learning abilities, she's enforcing cookie cutter drones for a future minimum wage workforce.

Bet she gets Teacher of the Year at some point.

Sounds like she drank the Kool-aid to me. She should be immediately removed from teaching kids until Jesus breaks her out of the spell she's under.
